UK University Admissions for International Students · 2026/27 Intakes

An accredited UK degree, with the fees and entry rules stated upfront.

We help international students assess UK degree options, then verify the course tuition, entry requirements and current Student sponsor status before an application is submitted. You get a clear document list and know which facts still need university confirmation.

What you need to know first

  • Your programme Undergraduate, Master's or a pre-Master's pathway, with current Student sponsor status checked before application.
  • Your tuition International tuition is set per course, per university, and is not the home fee. We confirm the exact figure for your course in writing before you apply.
  • Your entry requirements Academic qualifications are assessed against the UK equivalent for your country, alongside English language evidence.
  • Your documents CAS from the university, transcripts, English test, passport and financial evidence. We list exactly what your course needs.
  • Somewhere to live We help you find university halls or private student housing near your campus, arranged before you travel rather than after you land.
  • Work experience here We help you find part-time work and internships alongside your course, and career support after you graduate. A Student visa normally caps term-time work at 20 hours a week, and UKVI will not count expected UK earnings towards the maintenance funds you must evidence.
Student Finance England does not apply to international students. International tuition is paid privately, by an employer or government sponsor, or through an institutional scholarship. Any figure you have seen quoted around £9,790 is the home fee and is not available on this route.
A UK or Irish citizen, or do you hold settled/pre-settled status, ILR or refugee status? You may be eligible for the home route, subject to the residence and course rules. Review the home route →

Who we place

The application fails on paperwork far more often than on ability.

A qualification that does not map cleanly to the UK system, an English test in the wrong format, or financial evidence outside the permitted window can cause problems. We check the current requirements before an application goes anywhere.

You are applying from your home country

We assess your qualifications against the UK equivalent, prepare an initial shortlist, then verify the exact entry criteria and current Student sponsor position before an application proceeds.

Overseas applicant

You are already in the UK on another visa

Whether an in-country switch is permitted depends on your current immigration route and the rules in force. We check current official guidance before you plan around it; fee status is a separate question.

In-country switching

Your degree is from outside the UK

A Master's application on a non-UK Bachelor's needs the grade converted and the institution recognised. Where a direct offer is not realistic, a pre-Master's pathway may be available.

Postgraduate entry

Someone else is paying

Employer and government sponsors, family funding and institutional scholarships each need different evidence, and the maintenance funds requirement has to be held for a set period before you apply.

Fees & entry

The number that matters is the one for your course

International tuition is set by each university, for each course, and it is not the £9,790 home fee you will see quoted across UK university websites. We confirm your figure in writing, with the university, before you apply to anything.

Tuition

Per course, per university

  • UndergraduateSet individually by each partner. Confirmed for your shortlist before application.
  • PostgraduateSet individually by each partner, and usually differs from the undergraduate rate.
  • DepositMost universities require a tuition deposit before issuing a CAS. The amount and the refund terms vary — we get both in writing.
  • Not availableStudent Finance England tuition and maintenance loans. This route is self-funded, sponsored, or scholarship-funded.
Entry requirements

Assessed against the UK equivalent

  • AcademicYour qualification is mapped to its UK equivalent for your country, then checked against the course's published minimum.
  • English languageAccepted tests and minimum scores are set per university, and some courses require a UKVI-approved SELT specifically.
  • PathwaysWhere a direct offer is not realistic, a foundation year or pre-Master's route may be available. We verify this before recommending it.

Visa & documents

A Student visa normally requires a CAS from an eligible sponsor

The exact offer, deposit, CAS and evidence sequence varies by provider and applicant. We verify the current process before you act.

  • Sponsor licenceOnly an eligible institution on the current Home Office register can sponsor a Student visa. We verify the exact provider and course before application.
  • OfferThe university sets any academic, English-language and document conditions that must be met before CAS consideration.
  • Deposit & CASWhere the provider requires a tuition deposit, its amount and refund terms are confirmed in writing. The eligible sponsor decides whether and when to issue a CAS.
  • Financial evidenceWhere evidence is required, funds normally need to meet current amount, account, holding-period and statement-date rules. Exemptions and acceptable evidence depend on your circumstances.
  • ApplicationStudent visa application, immigration health surcharge, biometrics, and where required an ATAS certificate for certain postgraduate subjects.
  • DependantsDependant visas are restricted to specific course types. We will tell you plainly whether your course qualifies before you plan around it.

Immigration rules change, and the published Home Office guidance is the authority on all of the above — not us. We prepare and check your application against the current rules; we do not give immigration advice.
